Our client, a large not-for-profit, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for this short-term contract.
Key responsibilities of this position include :-
- managing the end-to-end payroll process for up to 130 casual, full-time and part-time employees;
- processing manual timesheets for employees into CIM payroll system;
- interpreting complex awards;
- solid experience in reconciling.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to liaise effectively with others and prioritise workloads in order to meet agreed timeframes. You will demonstrate high attention to detail and make appropriate decisions when required.
Experience in a similar role is essential as you will need to have sound knowledge of payroll legislation and complex awards. You will ideally have proven exposure to CIM payroll systems however, experience with Chris21 or other payroll systems will be considered.
