Communications Coordinator

Role

A flexible short-term contract (potential to extend) opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Communications professional to assist our client in researching and gathering of complex government information and presenting in a clear, easy to understand and logical format addressing various audiences.

Working closely with the internal Marketing and Communications team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • managing internal & external communications to multiple audiences;
  • refining core messaging to ensure consistency & understanding;
  • script/content writing and image editing;
  • ensuring employees are engaged in company initiatives;
  • website management;
  • ad-hoc duties as required.

About You

The successful candidate must have experience relaying complex technical information and policy ie scientific, government or similar, into layman’s terms directed for various audiences both internal and to the public. A journalist or scientific comms background would be ideal. You must be self-driven and able to multi-task, addressing priority and importance.  Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills and a solid understanding of internal communications is essential.
