This presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to play a significant role in leading a team of Support Workers to deliver quality, person centred and customer focused outcomes for the people they support in their homes and community.
You will play a key role in ensuring the activities and services provided by the Support Workers to their clientele promote independence, enablement and wellness. You will act as a role model and provide coaching, guidance and mentoring to staff to achieve excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- supporting, mentoring and training staff
- undertake field audits
- performance reviews and management
- recruiting and on-boarding of new staff
- conducting and managing risk assessments
- incident and investigation management involving support workers
- continuous improvement in systems and service delivery
- introduction and review of policies, processes and guidelines
The successful candidate will be a proactive, energised individual with a passion for delivering service excellence to its customers. You will possess demonstrated experience in leading teams with sound management, strong communication, relationship building and organisational skills, along with an authentic passion for service delivery improvement and a genuine desire to develop and lead teams from the front to achieve outcomes. Candidates from a healthcare sector background will be highly regarded.
